Description

This bayonet looks like the Swedish m/1815 but the dimensions are slightly larger, and it is "heavier".
It exists in two versions, the first a litle "heavier", the second seems later and is distictly lighter.

Bayonet #1
The Socket diameter is 24.5 mm and the whole bayonet feels quite heavy. (Circa 540 gr.)
The blade has a almost flat upper side (very shallow fuller) and rounded shoulders.
The arm and blade connection is not quite 'Swedish'.
It is marked 'MM' '88' and some other signs on the side of the arm (see image) and a small 'H' on the other side.

Bayonet #2
Same dimensions an #1, but much lighter. Only 420 gr.
The blade face is not flat, there is a very shallow fuller.
It is only marked 'MM' on the side of the arm and a small 'H' on the other side.
It has a maker mark that looks like a headgehog or a crown (?) on the ricasso.
