Knife bayonet The first batch of bayonets were delivered in 1966-68 by BAHCO, a second batch was ordered fromEickhorn and was delivered 1976. Two types of scabbard were used: Wooden pattern scabbard., the scabbard lock is on the front of the chapen. Black plastic scabbard, the scabbard lock is on the reverse side. It is still unclear when the different scabbards were introduced. The wooden grained scabbard were used with the earlier trials and field knive trials. However, on a drawing from 1966 the black plastic scabbard is shown. Both scabbard models were also made in a parade version with white belt hanger. Several variations exists.
